Fun party food doesn’t have to be super involved or time consuming. These Patriotic Fruit Kabobs are super festive and something the kids can help make too.
What’s not to love about these strawberry, blueberry, & marshmallow skewers?!?!? They can be made the day before the party and as long as they are tightly wrapped they’ll be perfect when served.
Patriotic Fruit Kabobs
I love 4th of July, but here in Arizona it’s often too hot to just hang out at the park for picnic and fireworks so we usually crash a friend’s house that has a pool, eat, and then head out to see fireworks at the last minute. Even when the fireworks start at 9pm, it’s still around 100-110 degrees outside! It’s hot!!!!
I always take a ton of food with us because I just hate to show up empty handed…afterall, I didn’t have to clean my house. And these mini fruit kabobs are always a kid {and adult} favorite. Y’all, sometimes I bring 3 or 4 dozen and they are DEVOURED!
4th of July Fruit Kabobs
Pretty much, my kids love any fruit kabobs with marshmallows, but these are probably the prettiest to look at. I also love getting my kids involved with helping prepare snacks or for parties and these are perfect for kids of all ages. My older daughter is now able to safely cut the strawberries and my son threads everything on the skewers.
These are so simple and delicious that I don’t add anything to them. Sometimes, plain fruit is all ya need. So skip a fancy glaze or topping {although…I have been talked into a chocolate drizzle in the past} and just enjoy these simple 4th of July Fruit Kabobs.

Oh my goodness. It’s one in the morning, and I should be going to bed, but instead I’m looking at your delicious food and my stomach is grumbling – because, well, there’s NOTHING better than fruit! I (surprisingly!) have all the ingredients for this, and will totally be making it in the morning – hopefully my family will still eat it even though the 4th is over now!
