Quick and Easy Banana Split Ice Cream Pie {in a Jar}. Make ahead and keep them in the freezer for when you need a quick dessert! I’ll admit it, my favorite way to drink an ice cold tea is in a mason jar. There is just something Southern about it. Hubbyman laughs at me for it, but he just doesn’t understand. We always have tons of jars lying around because we love to make jam and can lots of fruits and veggies. However, I don’t usually just make something in mason jars. I’m just not “cutesy” enough to pull it off. I love the way all the foods in jars looks, but it was just super hard for me to rise to the challenge this month. I think I just tried to pack too much goodness into that tiny (okay, it wasn’t that tiny) pint sized jar. I will say that it was so fun and easy and the kids went crazy when I pulled these beauties out of the freezer. Side note: Make up a bunch of these, put plastic wrap over the top, screw on the metal band, and keep in the freezer for a quick dessert. Now this is just my style! Not only in a jar (mega cute), but I’m kinda crazy about banana splits. Now to figure out how to get one of these into my belly without going to the store…lol.
