Bacon isn’t just for breakfast anymore! It’s the perfect addition to lunch or supper or my new burger…The Elvis Burger! Topped with all of Elvis’ favorite things like peanut butter, bananas, and of course bacon. This burger totally works…you are gonna have to trust me on this one. It is down right finger-lickin’ good!
I’m so excited to partnering with Wright® Brand Bacon today. I was first introduced to Wright Brand® Bacon last November when I helped cover the bacon competition at the World Food Championships in Las Vegas and when I got home I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this bacon. It really is one of my favorite brands of bacon.
Loved checking out the demo last week at Walmart. It was the first time that raw bacon was being cooked in a Walmart as part of a demo experience. Very cool and everyone was talking about how awesome the aroma was. Wright® Brand Bacon is a great value at Walmart.
My favorite way to cook bacon is in the oven…it really is the best way to cook bacon, even if it does take longer.
I love how simple the bananas are to caramelize and how much amazing flavor they give to the burgers. The burgers are sweet, salty, creamy, crunchy and absolutely scrumptious!

The Elvis Burger
The Elvis Burger is a grilled hamburger topped with all of Elvis' favorite things - peanut butter, bananas, and of course bacon. It is down right finger-lickin' good!
Ingredients
- 4 hamburger patties
- 8 slices Bacon, cooked (we use Wright® Brand)
- 2 bananas
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat grill to high. Season meat liberally with salt and pepper. Cook burgers over direct heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, slice bananas lengthwise and then in half, creating 8 small thin slices of banana. Add to a medium sauce pan and top each with 1/2 tablespoon of brown sugar over medium heat. Cook for a couple minutes and then gently flip over, coating second side with melted brown sugar. Keep cooking for several minutes until bananas are soft and caramelized, but still hold their shape.
- Assemble burgers starting with the bottom bun, burger, then one tablespoon of peanut butter each, 2 slices of banana, 2 strips of bacon, and finally the top bun.

Oh my goodness! I think I’d pass on the bananas, though Elvis would’ve loved them, I think!! Otherwise, I want that burger!
