This Pirate Munch Party Mix is perfect for all the pirates and fairies in your life!
My kids are really into pirates, fairies, and Peter Pan these days and so I promised them I would surprise them with a fun after school snack one day soon. They still don’t know that I’ve been secretly working on this fun {and tasty} Pirate Munch Party mix for them. I think it will totally blow their minds when I make one more batch for them. I should probably just make a pirated themed birthday party for one of them because they love pirates and playing pirates so much.
So here are the magical ingredients that make the perfect Pirate Munch Party Mix. Hubbyman and I had a fun time coming up with each item and what it would represent.
- Pirate’s Booty (pirate treasure)
- Square Pretzels (treasure maps)
- Nuts, any type will work (rocks for bury the treasure under)
- Gold Fish Crackers (fishies)
- Blue Jelly Beans (ocean water)
Next I printed off a Jolly Roger image, taped it to a plastic appetizer fork, and placed it in the dish to make sure it was obviously a Pirate snack. You could print it on stickers and put the snack in individual cups or bags for a party…but I really just like a big bowl for all the kids to grab a handful.
Find the perfect Jolly Roger image by doing a quick google image search of “jolly roger images” and find one that you like. There are some scary ones and some not so scary ones…find one that fits your family.
