I’m so excited to share my recipes today for a gluten free party menu featuring fall comfort foods and McCormick Gluten-Free Recipe Mixes. I’m so excited to see the new line of gluten free recipe mixes and they taste great too!
We had some family over recently so I created this fall comfort food menu plan for my party:
- chili-spiced peanuts (recipe below)
- 3 ingredient creamy taco bean dip (recipe below)
- turkey with turkey gravy
- gluten free dressing
- pumpkin rice pudding
Doesn’t that sound like some tasty recipes. I love how easily I can create safe foods for me that don’t compromise on flavor. The McCormick Gluten-Free Recipe Mixes are easy and fool-proof. Plus they are made without gluten, MSG, or any other artificial colors/flavors.
The line for gluten free mixes include:
- Gluten-Free Chili Seasoning Mix,
- Gluten-Free Taco Seasoning Mix,
- Gluten-Free Turkey Gravy Mix, and
- Gluten-Free Brown Gravy Mix
I have a huge love for spicy peanuts and so I thought using the chili seasoning would be a fun and unique spin with this mix. They are pretty spicy, but so good. My mouth is watering just thinking about eating them again.
I also made the most scrumptious 3 ingredient bean dip. This is perfect for everyone at the party..even the pickiest eaters {ahem…my kids} will love it! The bean dip could not be any simpler, but is full of great flavor. I made mine with dairy free cream cheese, but you can use whatever cream cheese you prefer.
Chili-Spiced Peanuts
1 package McCormick Gluten-Free Chili Seasoning Mix
3 cups dry roasted peanuts, unshelled
3 tsps vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 300F. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and place on a pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake for 20 minutes, stir halfway through cooking time. Remove from oven and pour out onto paper towels to cool and absorb any remaining oil.
3 Ingredient Creamy Taco Bean Dip
1 package McCormick Gluten-Free Taco Seasoning Mix
1 8 oz package cream cheese (traditional or dairy free)
1 can refried black beans
Place ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and warm in 1 minute intervals, stirring after every minute. Keep warming and stirring until ingredients are heated through and well combined. Serve with chips and veggies.
