Hear me out y’all! These drinks are to-die-for! Why have I never put grapefruit and ginger together before. They are a match made in foodie heaven. Yes…foodie heaven!
There is tons of grapefruit flavor and I mean tons. It’s infused into the simple syrup. Then add in some fresh squeezed juice and big ol’ splash of ginger ale and you have one delicious drink on your hands. I probably drank 4 of these on Sunday and I don’t regret it one bit!
Check out all those beautiful strands of grapefruit zest in the drink! I just love it…it tells me that it’s going to have amazing flavor.
I made these drinks last weekend while we had our smoker full of various kinds of meat. They were so refreshing to have while we were outside enjoying the day, smoking the meat, and pretending to do yard work. Hubbyman and I drank a lot of these (luckily there was no alcohol…though we both agreed that next time there would be some vodka maybe). They were so good. In fact, the kids really enjoyed these too. The simple syrup makes them pretty sweet so the tartness of the grapefruit isn’t too bad.
