Keto Friendly Pork Chops in the Air Fryer
I’m always looking for simple, quick recipes that I can get on the dinner table in under 30 minutes that the whole family will love. Enter my Pork Chops! Regardless if you are on a keto or low carb diet….you must try these. They are tender and juicy and full of flavor. They aren’t spicy, so they are perfect for everyone.
Ingredients to Make These Pork Chops
- Boneless pork chops or cutlets
- Olive oil
- Paprika
- Chili powder
- Cumin
- Garlic powder
- Brown sugar substitute (I like this one)..if you don’t need to watch your carbs or sugar then just use regular brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Air Fryer
How to Air Fry Pork Chops (Boneless)
Drizzle pork chops with olive oil. Combine spices and brown sugar substitute and coat the chops well.
Place the meat into a pan or on rack for the air fryer. Cook for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Flip the pork chops halfway through the cook time. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.

Some of my favorite ways to change up these keto pork chops are:
- Air Fryer Pork Chops with Parmesan — Add 1/4 – 1/2 cup parmesan cheese to the spice mixture.
- Keto Air Fryer Pork Chops with Pork Rinds — Add the seasoning to 1/2 -1 cup crushed pork rinds. Dip chops in a beaten egg, then coat in seasoning mixture. Even better, add 1/2 cup parmesan to the pork rind mixture as well. So dang good.
- Keto Air Fryer Pork Chop Bites — Cut the meat into bite size “nugget” bites. Coat with seasoning or either of the above alternatives. Cook time might be a little shorter. Shake or turn bites after 5 minutes and adjust cook time as needed.
What temperature do you air fry pork chops at and how long to cook them??
Pork Chops cook really well in the air fryer at 400F.
The time to cook pork chops in the air fry really depends on how thick the pork chops are. A good starting point is about 10 minutes.
Are air fryer pork chops healthy?
Yes! They are generally healthy. But with any meal, it really depends on what you add to them. This recipe is very healthy. It’s low carb, keto, gluten free, and dairy free.
Why are my Air Fryer Pork Chops Tough?
Pork becomes dry and tough when it’s over cooked. Pork chops are best cooked to 145F. Once the internal temperature is over 145F they get very dry and tough. Use a good meat thermometer to test the temperature in the thickest part of the chop.
My Favorite Air Fryer
I’ve tried a couple different types and brands of air fryers and I’ve decided I prefer a basket type style. I actually hated all air fryers for the first year or so that I owned one…I just didn’t know what I was doing. However, I use it probably 4 days a week now for lunches and dinners and reheating leftovers. It’s amazing. I have this one (well, technically I have the older model but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore).
No matter what kind you have just keep using it and trying new things until you feel comfortable with it.

Air Fryer Pork Chops (Keto, Low Carb, & Gluten Free)

Ingredients
- 5 Boneless pork chops
- 1 Tbsp. Olive oil
- ½ tsp. Paprika
- ½ tsp. Chili powder
- ½ tsp. Cumin
- ½ tsp. Garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. Swerve brown sugar substitute
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400F degrees.
- Add the pork chops to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Combine seasonings and sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle on the pork chops.
- Place the pork chops onto a pan or on a rack for the air fryer. Cook for 10 minutes or until cooked to an internal temperature of 145F in the thickest part. Flip the pork chops halfway through the cook time.
