You’re sure to love these gorgeous Blackberry BBQ Sticky Wings. A tasty spin on the traditional.
We go out for wings often, and I especially love trying different sauces and then trying to recreate my favorites. Sometimes I come up with combinations that are totally out of the box. Blackberry BBQ sticky wings take it to the next level. Wings are the perfect way to eat up this gooey sauce. Tangy and sweet, you’ll definitely need to lick your fingers after these babies! Whether you are making them for your family or a crowd, they are bound to be a hit.
Skip the fryer and bake your wings. I promise you can still get them just a crisp as long as you follow my tips. Trust me. We are HUGE wing fans here and I even order them extra crispy when we go out, but my baked chicken wing method will deliver perfectly crispy wings.
Blackberry BBQ Sticky Wings
Blackberry BBQ Sticky Wings are a tasty spin on traditional chicken wings. These baked chicken wings are the perfect game day appetizer!
Ingredients
- 24-36 chicken wing pieces
- 1 cup Blackberry BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F. Spray a large cookie sheet with nonstick spray and lay out wings in a single layer. (Make sure the wings are not touching each other.)
- Bake wings for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and use a poultry baster or similar suction device to remove all the liquid that has formed in the pan. Flip wings over and return to oven for an additional 30 minutes.
- While chicken is cooking, combine remaining ingredients in a small sauce pan. Bring to a slow boil and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- When chicken is thoroughly cooked, remove from oven. Using tongs, place chicken in the sauce and gently stir to coat the chicken.Transfer to a serving platter.

Wings can be amazing or they can be awful. Seems there’s nothing in between for me. Yours are definitely in the AMAZING category. Loving the sauce. And your method of baking to make them crisp.
