This delicious Blackberry Nectarine Salad with Honey Vinaigrette is perfect for a hot summer night.
Nothing is worse than a 120F summer day and then having to cook…especially heating the kitchen with anything. Even a slow cooker heats the kitchen. But a good, fresh summer salad is just the perfect supper when the mercury rises!
I love just grabbing whatever I find in my fridge and pantry and turning it into a salad, but this fresh fruit salad became a quick favorite last year and I’ve can’t stop making it for supper {and lunch too}.
I have been using my Rubbermaid® Freshworks™ containers pretty much non-stop since I was sent some to try out several months ago. They work best for berries and lettuce, which means they are perfect for summer-time use.
My favorite features are:
- Dishwasher safe and BPA free,
- the CrispTray™ which elevates produce away from moisture and promotes proper airflow to help prevent spoilage,
- and it has a Revolutionary FreshVent™ Technology which is a patented membrane that naturally regulates the flow of O2 and CO2 to create the optimal environment for keeping produce nearly as fresh as the day it was picked.
