Cool and creamy, my Classic Pineapple Fluff has been a summer family favorite since I was a little girl. It’s the perfect dessert for summer, a BBQ, or just because you love pineapple!
Classic Pineapple Fluff
There really is no better no-bake summer dessert than a good ol’ fluff. My mom’s favorite (and the one that got me hooked) is called Pink Stuff in our family. LOL! It’s like this amazing cherry fluff with pretty much everything you could ever want in a fluff. It’s so good and super sweet. This classic Pineapple Fluff is sweet, but it’s also got a nice tang in it. It will have you going back for seconds and thirds.
Over the years, I’ve tweaked our old family recipe into what it is now and I think y’all are gonna love it! Just as much as you love my Pineapple Cherry Fluff, my Blueberry Fluff, and my Strawberry Fluff!
This fluff recipe literally takes no time at all to throw together, so it’s perfect for the Back to School craziness too. It’s something I throw together in the morning and it’s perfect for after school snacks and desserts! My kids feel like they’ve won the lottery when they come home to this treat!
How to Make Pineapple Fluff
Making Pineapple Fluff couldn’t be any easier. After a quick blend of the cottage cheese in a food processor, blender, or immersion blender (that’s what I used)…you simply mix the cottage cheese with jello. Fold in the whipped topping and then add in the remaining ingredients.
Cover the entire bowl with plastic wrap and let it hang out in the refrigerator for a couple hours and then you’ll have a delicious and cool dessert for the hottest of summer days!
How to Serve Pineapple Fluff
To serve my classic pineapple fluff, I usually just set out the large bowl and let everyone have at it. I do add some garnishes like extra pineapple wedges or a cherry and a sprinkle of chopped nuts. But that’s about it. However, for a “fancier” party, I like to scoop it out into small bowls and garnish the same way as above so everyone has their own little bowl. So easy. And easy is the way to go for simple parties and BBQs.
Pineapple Fluff with Cottage Cheese
Not gonna lie….sometimes we use this as a side dish. I mean..it’s with cottage cheese and nuts so that makes it a total side dish, right? Well, perhaps I’m just dreaming, but it should totally count.
And don’t freak out about the cottage cheese, it’s what gives this fluff a delicious tang plus tons of protein. I promise, it’s all blended in so texture is totally a fluffy consistency.
Shamrock Farms Cottage Cheese
I love using Shamrock Farms products in my cooking. I’ve been out to their farms several times and they have a wonderful facility and Shamrock Farms milk is locally sourced from its own family farm so it gets from the farm to my family in as little as two days. TWO DAYS!
I love working with Shamrock Farms and I’ve created several recipes for them over the years. Check out my recipes here, including my family’s favorite Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas or my Blueberry Cottage Cheese Cookies.
Shamrock Farms cottage cheese is made using a hands-on approach that’s been perfected and refined for three generations. The result is a delicious difference you can taste. Their cottage cheese is the best I’ve had! I’ve tried both the traditional and low varieties and love them both. Make sure to look for the NEW green lid in your local dairy case.
