Keto Pretzel Bites are the perfect addition to a snack board or to dip in Keto Beer Cheese. They are light, fluffy, and perfect on a low carb diet.
Keto Pretzel Bites
These soft pretzel bites are always a hit at my house. They cook up quickly and use ingredients you probably already have on hand, especially if you are following a keto lifestyle. Even if you aren’t keto, you will love them. They are great if you are gluten free too.
I make these every time I have a craving for a soft baked pretzel and they really hit the spot. The recipe starts with a basic fathead dough recipe, but then it gets kicked up and turned into bite-sized pretzel goodness.
Ingredients Needed for this Recipe:
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- cream cheese
- almond flour
- eggs
- baking powder
- xanthan gum
- garlic powder
- Everything Bagel Seasoning
How to Make These Keto Soft Pretzel Bites
These easy keto soft pretzel bites use a basic fathead dough.
Combine the mozzarella and cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in intervals until the cheeses are melted and well combined.
Place the cheese mixture into a mixing bowl and add remaining ingredients except bagel seasoning. Blend until smooth.
Roll the dough into a rectangular shape, brush with egg white and sprinkle with bagel seasoning.
Cut into strips and then into rectangular bites. Transfer onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
How to cook pretzel bites in the air fryer
Yes, you can air fry pretzel bites. Preheat air fryer to 400F. Line with parchment paper that’s cut to fit the air fryer. Place pretzel dough in a single layer in the air fryer and cook at 400F for 6-7 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
Are Keto Pretzel Bites Gluten Free?
Traditional pretzel bites are made with wheat flour. However, this recipe is made with almond flour and all ingredients are gluten free.
What to Eat Pretzel Bites With?
Serving keto pretzel bites with cheese sauce is my favorite way to enjoy them. Whether that’s my keto beer cheese sauce or even my popular chile con queso…I just can’t stop eating them with a good cheese dip. Of course you could slater on some cream cheese or eat them on their own.
Another option would be to leave off the bagel seasoning and sprinkle with cinnamon and your favorite keto sweetener for a sweet, dessert treat.
