This may be the most perfect Halloween Appetizer ever! I love hummus, I love pumpkin things…so why not combine them into a delicious Pumpkin Hummus?
I’ve got pumpkin on my brain and I’m planning for company, so I had to combine a few of my favorite things together to create this amazing dip. My kids are hummus lovers and will eat it on anything. {Okay, in all fairness I tell them it’s bean dip……it is….so technically I’m not lying!} This is the perfect halloween appetizer, thanksgiving recipe, and just all around fall recipe. It’s naturally vegan and gluten free {just make sure to use some gluten free crackers or veggies for dipping.}
The flavor of pumpkin blends nicely with the rest of the traditional hummus ingredients. It’s not over powering, but you can definitely taste it. Plus..isn’t that color beautiful?!?! I ended up using my own jar of roasted pumpkin, but you can totally just use a can of pumpkin. Just don’t use pumpkin pie filling!
