I’ve had so much fun working with Tofutti over the past several months. While recipes weren’t part of the deal, I just love their product so much that I don’t mind sharing my love of their products with you. And while this dip isn’t exactly vegan…you could make it with tvp instead of sausage. And if you don’t need it to be dairy free, just use regular ol’ cream cheese. Either way, the Slow Cooker Sausage Dip is probably the best dip I’ve had recently!
When we were trick or treating this year, one of the houses had a full spread of treats from cupcakes for the kids to this dip for the adults. I couldn’t try it, but Hubbyman flipped out and told me that I would be making it for him soon. Our neighbor was kind and sort of told us how she makes it and this is my version of that. I have no idea what her version tasted like but Hubbyman says mine is even better. {Isn’t he a sweetie?!?!}
Which ever way you end up making the dip, I promise that it will be devoured in no time. It is super easy to throw this together in the slow cooker for a holiday party, potluck, or a football game watching party. It’s super addictive and full of flavor.

Do you brown the sausage first??
Wendy O'Neal says
Yes Jessica. :). Brown it first and drain off the fat. It wouldn’t have enough time to cook with this quick dip.

I would try Boca crumbles- I love them for substituting for ground meat.
