Grab your favorite cherry ice cream for a delicious cherry milkshake turned into an incredible freakshake. The Incredibles Freakshake is inspired by the first movie and Pixarfest!
If you haven’t heard Disneyland is celebrating all things Pixar during Pixarfest this summer. I can’t wait to go in a few months, but until I can get there I’m celebrating with this incredible freakshake. {pun intended}
The Incredibles FreakShake
I’ve made a few freakshakes over the years and it’s so fun. The kids go nuts for these shakes. Sometimes I just let them go crazy and add whatever they want, but I do love a good theme shake. I thought it would be fun to hit the candy store and find all the red and yellow (and some black) candies for this Incredibles inspired freakshake.
If you don’t know where a candy store is, you have to find one. You must! It’s great to be able to buy just a few items in the perfect colors for any project. I try to limit my trip to the candy store to a couple times per year because I tend to go a little overboard.
I’m such a Disney dork! I know it! I can’t wait for the second movie coming out this summer. It’s been a long wait, but it’s gonna be so worth it. So in anticipation of the movie, I had to make this freakshake. Even if you don’t want to take this shake over the top…just the simple cherry milkshake is delicious and worth making.
How to Make a FreakShake
- Dip rim of milkshake glass in frosting or melted chocolate and roll in colored sprinkles, chocolate, or nuts.
- Make your favorite milkshake and pour it into a tall milkshake glass.
- Go crazy. Top with cake, donuts, cupcakes, waffles, etc.
- Add in some colorful sugars or skewers filled with various candies or marshmallows.
- Top with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate, caramel, or other sauce.
- Sprinkle with additional sprinkles, chocolates, or nuts.
- Enjoy.

Cherry Milkshake (The Incredibles Freakshake)
Grab your favorite cherry ice cream for a delicious cherry milkshake turned into an incredible freakshake. The Incredibles Freakshake is inspired by the first movie and Pixarfest!
Ingredients
- vanilla frosting
- yellow sprinkles or colored sugar
- 6 suckers (4 yellow, 2 red)
- 2 full size donut with red frosting
- 24 peach gummy candies
- 3-4 mini marshmallows
- 4-5 bamboo sticks
- 4 cups cherry ice cream (or strawberry)
- 1/2-2/3 cup whole milk
- red food dye
- whipped cream
- 2 cherries
- 2 black straws
- 2 milkshake/parfait glasses ∞http://amzn.to/2l1V0yl
Instructions
- Spread the rim of each glass with vanilla frosting in a thin layer around the top 1/4 of the glass. Add yellow sprinkles or colored sugar to cover the frosting.
- Meanwhile, thread peach gummy candies on a bamboo skewer (a marshmallow keeps the donuts from slipping), make a skewer for each milkshake.
- In a heavy duty blender, add ice cream, 1/2 cup milk, and red food dye then process until combined and creamy. If it's too thick add a little milk and if it's too thin add more ice cream. (Note: to get a deep red, I used almost 1/2 a bottle of red dye.)
- In 2 parfait glasses gently pour milkshake into the center of each glass. Top each glass with a large donut and then add a skewer of candy and various suckers. Top with whipped cream, extra red and yellow sprinkles.
- Finally top with a cherry and then dig in!
